LocalChart privacy notice

This notice explains the limited business information handled by the public website, pilot enrollment, and PHI-free account services. Clinic records remain separate on the clinic-controlled LocalChart host.

What this notice covers

This notice covers localchart.app, private-pilot inquiries, and LocalChart's PHI-free clinic account and licensing services. It does not replace a clinic's own patient privacy notice and does not describe the clinic's independent handling of patient records.

No patient portal and no public PHI collection

The public website is not a patient portal and does not provide access to clinic charts. Do not submit patient names, recordings, reports, screenshots containing patient information, credentials, or backup files through website forms or email.

Information we may collect

Ordinary website requests may include an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. Pilot and account activity may include a clinic name, business contact information, staff role, account membership, invitation and sign-in events, installation identifiers, license status, subscription references, and support history. LocalChart does not need patient records for those services.

How information is used

Business information is used to operate and secure the website, respond to inquiries, enroll and support clinics, manage accounts and licenses, prevent abuse, maintain audit history, and administer subscriptions. It is not sold for behavioral advertising.

Service providers

Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the website and PHI-free account services. Email providers handle messages sent to Neural Workflow LLC. When billing is enabled, Stripe processes checkout and payment details; LocalChart receives account and subscription status rather than card numbers. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy commitments.

Retention

Website security records, account records, license history, and support correspondence are retained only as reasonably needed for operations, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Clinical retention is controlled separately by the clinic within LocalChart.

Your choices

You may ask about the business contact and account information associated with you, request a correction, or request deletion when retention is not required for security, contracts, or law. Clinic administrators control clinic memberships. Contact us before sending any sensitive information.

Security and changes

Reasonable safeguards are used for the public services, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date before materially different collection begins.
